Hi, I am Philip Thompson, a wine expert and general manager of Expert Wine Storage, based in Cardiff, United Kingdom.
My expertise includes wine fridges, designing wine walls, and creating bespoke wine rooms and cellars.
I regularly draw upon the knowledge and experiences gained from my Mechanical Engineering degree and over 10 years of industry experience to analytically solve customer challenges and deliver their ideal outcomes. In 2024, I plan to formally expand my wine expertise through the WSET School in London.
I founded Expert Wine Storage in 2020 with the goal of helping every customer find their perfect wine storage solution. My insights have been featured in media outlets such as Livingetc and respected publications like Medical News Today (where I discussed how long wine lasts) and Wikipedia.
